Creative Strategy // Digital Design
land-designs.co.uk is a bespoke hand-made decor start-up located on the coast in East Anglia. The company produces unique products and has had success on local markets but, they are looking to expand their reach to the entirety of the UK. I was tasked with a large on-going project to digitlise the business as well as a range of creative strategy work from identifying their audience, expanding their brand and plan a large marketing campaign for the beginning of 2023.

PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY & CONSULTATION

To put the products to a UK wide audience the initial task was to edit the current product photos to a higher standard and advise on the product photography and it's importance in ecommerce. I subsequently put together a product photography kit for them to use at their workshop. This crucial first step was essential to help build out the website.

web design

The primary purpose for a new website was to give the brand a modern facelift, instill trust and draw focus to the products themselves. It was also essential to clearly communicate their commission services and how each order can be customised to the customers demands.
From a backend point of view, it was important to have great data, easy to use for the Land Designs team as well as have ease-of-use payment systems like Apple Pay. The old Land Designs site was difficult to use on mobile devices and with 50% of their traffic being mobile, it was essential to have this in mind.

pitch deck design

As part of the project, we explored a potential B2B (business to business) opportunities along side consumer sales. With more and more cafes & bars looking to become more 'instagram-able', they are searching for more unique decor to attract customers.
I aimed to create a deck which was simplistic and focusing on the Land Designs USP which is their unique and bespoke products. Each slide would contain a closeup of one of their products as well as labelling which product it is. Depending on the scale of B2B campaign, I would bid on the keywords of each product label to ensure that if they were searched by a reciever of the deck, they would be met first with Land Designs products. It's important that each discipline within a project can feed into the overall strategy.
